In-Store Return Policy

Kahuna Surf Shop offers refunds or exchanges on eligible regular-priced merchandise within 15 days of the original purchase date. From day 16 through day 30, eligible regular-priced merchandise may be exchanged only. We will not accept returns or exchanges after 30 days.

A valid receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Item Condition

Returned or exchanged merchandise must be in its original condition: unworn, unused and unwashed, with all original tags and packaging intact. Kahuna Surf Shop reserves the right to inspect all returned merchandise and deny a refund or exchange if the product does not meet our acceptable condition standards.

Items Ineligible for Refund or Exchange

• Bathing suits are final sale.
• Any merchandise marked down from its regular price is final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Manufacturer Warranties

Product warranties are provided and administered by the manufacturer or brand. All warranty claims are subject to the applicable brand’s policies, assessment and approval. Kahuna Surf Shop does not determine warranty eligibility or outcomes, but we can assist by acting as a point of contact between the customer and the brand when possible.

Online Return Policy

Kahuna Surf Shop offers a 30-day return period for all online purchases. Shipping fees are non-refundable, if applicable. Send returns of eligible items with the valid purchase receipt; you can return them by mail or at our location. Refunds on eligible items will be issued to the original form(s) of payment. Please see below for instructions on how to make a return by mail.

How do I return an online purchase?

Online purchases can be returned by mail within 30 days of the shipping date. Our Orillia location will also accept online returns in person.

Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs when making a return by mail. As such, we recommend shipping with a courier that can provide tracking and insurance, as Kahuna Surf Shop is not responsible for lost packages.

Please include a copy of your receipt in your return when packing your items. Then, send your package to the following address:

Once our store has successfully received and processed your return, you will receive an email confirmation and a refund to your original form(s) of payment. Returns are not subject to a restocking fee.

Please note that processing a return can take up to 4 business days after it arrives at our warehouse, especially during periods of increased return volume. 

Items ineligible for refund

We will only accept returns on items in their original condition: unworn, unused, and unwashed with all the original tags and packaging intact.

We do not accept returns or exchanges on gift cards, swimwear, undergarments, or products that have been worn, damaged, or missing original tags and packaging. Kahuna Surf Shop reserves the right to inspect all returned merchandise and deny a refund or exchange if the product does not meet our acceptable condition standards.

Shipping

We currently deliver most items in Canada using Canada Post.

Delivery Rates & Fees

Items of standard size (not considered "Oversized" to postal services) qualify for free delivery anywhere in Ontario when you purchase $50 or more (before taxes). Kahuna Surf Shop will cover the delivery costs for regular shipping. Larger items are available for pickup at the store. Some Larger items may be subject to "oversized fees" depending on the size of said item.

Within Ontario, a $10 flat rate applies to purchases under $50. For all other provinces in Canada (excluding Ontario), a flat rate of $20 applies to orders under $100.

*Please note that surcharges for purchasing oversized items or a large quantity of items (weight) may carry surcharges and are your responsibility.*

Instore Pick-up

Items will be available at the store once you have received a notification that your order is ready.

Delivery Times

Your order will be processed within 1 to 3 business days following your purchase. We strive to have packages delivered within 3 to 10 business days. However, issues with the delivery services themselves may be beyond our control. In any case, a tracking number is provided with every order.
